FAQs

Looking for quick answers? Our Lillington Veterinary Hospital FAQs cover the most common questions pet owners ask about appointments, care, payments, boarding, and more.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Appointments allow us to provide timely, efficient care. We also accommodate same-day urgent visits when availability allows.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer your appointment slot to another pet in need.

How often should my pet be vaccinated?

Puppies and kittens require a series of boosters. Adult pets typically need annual wellness visits and vaccinations tailored to their lifestyle and health status. We help create a customized plan.

Do you offer wellness exams?

Yes. We recommend yearly exams to monitor your pet’s health and detect issues early.

How do I request a prescription refill?

You can request refills by phone, through our app/portal, or via email. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing.

Can I get prescriptions online?

Yes. We review all online pharmacy requests. An exam may be required if we haven’t seen your pet recently, and you may need to pick up a paper prescription in person.

Do you accept emergencies?

Yes, we do. If possible, call ahead so our medical team can prepare for your arrival.

When should I bring my pet in for emergency care?
