Dr. Simone Lemieux

Dr. Simone Lemieux graduated from the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2005. She has served as a small animal general practitioner in Wake County for twelve years. She has worked extensively with animal rescue groups and animal shelters in Wake and Durham counties. Dr. Simone enrolled in the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is now certified in small animal acupuncture and Tui-na. Dr. Simone continues her studies at the Chi Institute, pursuing certification in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine and Food Therapy. Growing up, Dr. Simone’s family moved often throughout the western United Stated and Canada. After graduating from Campbell County High School in Gillette, Wyoming, she attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature. Calling Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina home, Dr. Simone lives with her husband, two boys, two dogs and one cat. When she is not working, Dr. Simone enjoys spending time with her family, baking and cooking, creating stained glass projects, swimming with a Masters Swim Team, competing in long distance open water swims and sprint distance triathlons.
